The Dual Trailer Mounted Portable Traffic Signal is a state of the art, micro processor based system, proudly developed and manufactured by A1 Roadlines. The trailer-mounted ‘Master’ and ‘Slave’ units can be split for separate positioning and separate towing.
The RTA Approved Dual Trailer Mounted Portable Traffic Signal is primarily used to control vehicular traffic at road works, where a section of the carriageway is closed and traffic from opposite directions must be directed through a single lane.
No motors, no noise, no worries!
The traffic signal is powered by eight 6-Volt batteries per trailer. The batteries are continually recharged via two 80 watt solar panels. Monitoring battery fluids and cleaning the solar panels is the only maintenance required.

- Vehicle Actuated (using Microwave Vehicle Detection)

- State-of-the-art L.E.D. Lantern heads complement the solar charging to keep power consumption to a minimum.
- Radio or Cable Link communication between the 'Master' and 'Slave', as required.
- Fail-safe system reverts to flashing yellow operation under fault conditions.
- Conforms to the specifications of the various State Road Traffic Authorities.
- New in 2006, one winch system with lanterns stored downwards (no need for covers).
- New easy reach chain and plug coupling between trailers.
- New quick connect trailer coupling system.
